Competitor Meta creatives to Telegram: an n8n ad-library watcher
A free n8n workflow that watches the Meta Ads Library for new creatives from named competitors, logs them to a Sheet and alerts on Telegram with just the new-ad count.
We have picks on this shelf for PPC monitoring and account hygiene, but nothing that watches what competitors are actually putting in front of audiences creatively. Ad copy and offers change fast on Meta, and by the time you notice a competitor's new creative in your own feed, it may already have been running for weeks. This workflow closes that gap.
Why it made the cut
It runs the loop every competitor-tracking workflow should: watch, log, alert. It queries the Meta Ads Library for named competitor pages, writes any new creatives it finds to a Google Sheet so you have a running archive, and sends a Telegram message when there is something new. Crucially, the alert is restrained: it reports the count of new ads found, not a spammed message per creative, so it stays useful instead of becoming noise you mute within a week.
How to use it
- Import the workflow into your n8n instance.
- Add your list of competitor Facebook/Instagram page names or IDs to watch.
- Connect a Google Sheet for the creative log and a Telegram bot for alerts.
- Set a schedule (daily is sensible) and let it run.
Worth knowing
This is a free n8n community template, and the Meta Ads Library itself is publicly free to query, so there is no paid API tier required to run this. The template page shows a last-updated date of roughly February 2026, so check for a newer release before importing. It pairs directly with our Meta Ad Library pick on this shelf: that one is for manual spot-checks, this one is for standing daily surveillance.
